Campsie view

This afternoon friend Alison and I had an abortive trip to visit an elderly friend who is temporarily in a care home while her husband is unable to look after her. When we got there, said husband had taken her out for the afternoon, so Alison and I enjoyed coffee and scone in Oakwood instead.

On the way there I took a detour via the Cuilt Brae to get this fine view, looking over to Dumgoyne and the misty Campsies, with the village of Blanefield nestling in the trees on the right. (See extra.)

The extra is an attempt at a montage which doesn't quite come off because of the difference in the light of the middle piece, but it gives an idea of the panorama we were blessed with.
