Choir stalls

Today I had arranged to meet up with my two photography pals.  As the forecast had suggested heavy skies and high winds we decided to seek out an indoor venue and headed to Hexham Abbey.  We were allowed to have full access with tripods between 11 and 3 and the time passed so quickly with so many interesting nooks and crannies to explore and photograph.  Definitely a place we will be revisiting.  In addition the cafe sold some fantastic paninis, coffee and cake!!
