Breakfast binge: day 2. Oat grouts

Because it was Sunday, and because I was dancing out today, I dusted my porridge with cocoa powder. It made it taste like dessert - wicked.

Oat grouts are the whole grain, more complete than the staple rolled oats or oat meal. You have to give them a good soak beforehand (24 hrs) and they'll become soft and creamy when you blend it.

I was rather pleased with my new combo of figs and almond butter to create a sweet and mild non-diary milk for the porridge.

This one is going into my e-collection of breakfast recipes which I am compiling to celebrate a couple of international raw food events this summer.
