Christening Day

Today was Theia's baptism. It was a low key affair with just immediate family present.

My sister decided after Theo's christening (when he ran amok the entire time) that she would get the next one done early. Good thinking!

Theo was still full of beans; he'd already fallen over and carpet burned his face on the alter when we got there. In a great bit of forward planning, my Mum bought him a dog balloon (with weighted feet so it wouldn't float off) to try and keep him occupied, he was well suited with it and walked it round the church for the majority of the service, much to everyone's amusement.

Theia was pretty chilled throughout the entire event, apart from having her bonnet tied on; she didn't like that!

It all proved too much and at the end, she fell fast asleep in Grandad's arms.

There wasn't a do as such, Tom's family decided to go to the pub, Mum and I just came home.

I'll post all the photos to Flickr when I get chance.

I did a collage as I loved the one of Theo walking the dog; but it's Theia's day so she needed to be in there too. I liked the one of my sister with both of them, she's such a good Mum, it makes me happy seeing her like that :-)
