Motueka Estuary

Today we packed up our motel at Pohara, and went for a walk along the Pohara Beach Front. The sun was out, and it was surprisingly warm - well compared to what we are use to at home! We then went to my husband's step sister's place and had brunch with the rest of the family, before everyone disbursed in different directions to return home.

On the way home, we went past the Motueka Estuary, and for once the tide was in. Believe it or not, this photo was taken out of the car window, while still travelling along the road. I took a lot of photo's at Pohara, however, this picture I thought was brilliant - most of all I love the reflections in the water.

We stopped at the Kohatu Cafe and had a very late lunch/afternoon tea. It was nice and relaxing outside in the sun. As we got closer to home it got colder (surprise, surprise), and as we drove up the drive it started to rain - our welcome home present. I think we need to think seriously about moving to Golden Bay........
