A murmuration..

..of starlings?

Morning routine:
1. Take BP pill.
2. Turn radio on and give Tanni a cuddle and stroke.
3. Cook Tanni's mince.
4. Read weather readings, thermometer, barometer, rain gauges, and solar power meter.
5. Feed and water hens.
6. Collect eggs, and take Tanni for a run on the hill.
7. Water polytunnel and greenhouse.
8. Feed cats.
9. Feed Tanni.
10. Fill the bird feeders.
11. Sit down and have my breakfast.

When G's here, there are extra jobs.
Between 3 and 4. Fill kettle and prepare tea (for G) and coffee (for me).
Between 10 and 11. Make, and take tea and coffee up to G.

Then I think about what to do during the day.
Today it was strimming the grass out the front.
Helping Adrian move the scaffolding round at A's house.
More strimming.
Take wheel barrow down the croft and do some weeding.
Back up to help Adrian take the scaffolding down.
Tidy up, G's back tomorrow.
Cook my tea..

A nice day, but with wind strengthening to a gale, and now raining.
Think I'll go and shut the hens up now..

Had to touch up the right leg of the bottom left bird. There was a nasty yellow spot on the picture. And it had to be in an awkward position on his foot!!..
