Desenzano

Today we left Lenno for the end of the summer and headed over to Lake Garda. Roughly a three hour drive.

The photograph shows the "Porto Vecchio" or old port in Desenzano. The small inlet is filled with small boats.

After checking in at the hotel we had a drink at one of the bars overlooking the Porto Vecchio. Friday evening, there was a steady stream of people arriving at the port and going out in their boats. Some looked like they were just going out for an early evening on the lake, others looked like they were going to do some fishing.

Nice dinner sitting outside at one of the lakeside restaurants.
