A day to read & relax, filling in time between each meal, which is not so hard as there's very little time between each. But we do read, walk along the beach & people watch.

Zakynthos Fact #2 - The island suffered four severe earthquakes in 1953, resulting in the total destruction of infrastructure. Only three buildings on Zakynthos were left standing: the St Dionysios Cathedral, the National Bank, and the church of St Nicholas.
