Spoilt

What an amazing birthday and anniversary! Woke up to a kitchen full of balloons and my little girl more excited than I was.

Angus had ordered a special breakfast from Waitrose but had sent it to our old house by mistake. It didn't matter. We dropped Squidge at school together on foot at a leisurely pace for once. Then drove up to the Yard in Alderley for my favourite poached eggs and avocado on sour dough.

Angus had arranged so many things for my birthday bless him including his Mum and Dad to babysit so we could go out for a fancy meal but I didn't fancy any of it. I just wanted to be with them both so we cancelled the restaurant and went shopping at the Traff and picked her up afterwards. His Mum and Dad still came over and we all had a chippy tea with a birthday cake for afters.

It's the simple things. Best part of it? Lots of birthday cuddles with Squidge who is so so happy her Mama is home and was possibly more excited about my birthday than I was!
