Between fen and mountains

The Cady

The river is running at its quietest at this time of the year and the sun on the water makes not look quite tame. It will be anything but when the rains come.  After a pleasant coffee on the square, I decided to get the washing out.  My visitors have gone so it seemed a good idea to get on with jobs and not worry about problems over which I am powerless.  It only took two hours for everything to dry. I hope no one reports me for not ironing all the sheets!
