The end of the harvest
My usual walking group has gone for a short walking holiday in Spain. I decided to join the second, older group who only walk for the morning. The pace was leisurely, more an amble than a hike, but it was pleasant enough. We walked through the vineyards where the last of the harvest was being gathered and ended up at the hermitage of Domanova where I had a good chat with the resident monk. I did not realise a lunch was required but the group readily shared the aperitifs and a plate of food was assembled from various contributors. It was very kind of them.
