St Martin de Canigou

Today I played the tourist guide and took my friends from Noirmoutier around the two most important local abbeys.  The motifs on the capitals were explained by our guide.  The interior had a real feeling of peace and tranquillity.  I received some very worrying news from England today so my comments may be limited.  I learnt that the monastery runs retreats from a day to a week.  I think maybe it would a good idea to go on one.
