On a beach walk

The first of our two days in Ullapool. This is a favourite place of ours in the North West. For the last few years we have come to different five day summer art courses (painting and printing), but this time the visit is simply part of our week away. The forecast is for the weather to break late today or into Friday so most of today was spent outdoors just North of Ullapool at Ardmair point, walking on the pebble and stone beach and sitting looking out over the sea and the Summer isles.

The blip is a strand of seaweed on a large stone on the beach at Ardmair.
