Birsay Bay blue skies and breakers (Day 140)

The low grey clouds of yesterday disappeared overnight and the air was clear and chilly as I headed to Birsay to continue with the bathroom fit.
I left the dog wandering duties to my beautiful wife and hoped to make great progress in the bathroom. Unfortunately I arrived to find the joiners just starting to fit the wet wall that they were supposed to fit yesterday. I hung around waiting for them to finish. I couldn't get into the loft to complete pipework as my ladder would have been in their way. Once they left my time was much more productive.
I took a slight detour on the way home to get this shot of the great sky over the Broch of Birsay.
