I went to the Whitworth Art Gallery, part of Manchester University, to have lunch with a friend today. There was a splendid exhibition of art from West Africa including this specially commissioned room, entitled "The World Falls Apart" by Pascale Marthine. I thought that would be my blip.

But walking through the campus afterwards we came upon this bizarre building, the Contact Theatre, opened in 1972, more details of which can be seen here and also here.

Now, is this a "good" building? I have no idea how it works as a theatre but it astonished me and took over my blip choice for the day.
