Two
After a complex detailed blip yesterday (and many thanks for all the positive comments, which meant a great deal to me) I decided to do something minimal today. I went to Hollingworth Lake at 7am on a very warm morning, to play with my long lens.
I could have chosen this Small Tortoiseshell, or these rowers or even this large family of ducklings.
But the two buoys were the most minimal, like floating grapefruit.
In keeping with a cool minimalist mood, I am listening to some music I bought after hearing about the late jazz pianist Michel Petrucciani on the radio yesterday morning. He had brittle bone disease but overcame that to live a wonderful life and produce some astonishingly beautiful music.
