Bye Bye Mitsy

Today we sold trusty old "Mitsy" the van we've had since we first arrived in Australia late last year.

We decided the time was right to put her on the market, before we head off early next year. We whipped up some posters and hit all the backpacker noticeboards around town.

Literally an hour later we go a phonecall from some French tourists who were interested!

We met them in town, and after 15 minutes of broken English (trying to explain what a New South Wales Registration was), they gave us the full asking price! No questions asked!

It was great to sell her so quickly....but also kind of sad....especiallly since that means the end of weekend surf trips, for now :(

Before saying goodbye we got them to take one last photo of us, to remember the good times ;-)
