Sunny Shrews

What a delightfully lovely day here. Mum did announce it this morning, but nobody quite believed it till it happened.

Took a stroll along the river to 'spoons, since it was so lovely, and met tjc half way. While I was waiting I sat and watched life go by on the river, which was a hive of activity in the early evening sun. Runners, cyclists, hilarious children, jugglers on unicycles and students learning to row. It was utterly delightful and I could have stayed there all evening, just watching people enjoy the sunny riverbank. However, we headed off for dinner where we were super good and ordered only the healthiest that 'spoons had to offer. Nice to catch up with tjc, post start of school and we did a bit of musketeer scheming. CS and SS will have to wait and find out what we have in store.
