I prefer buying pjs to normal clothes.
I prefer being in my bed than out of it (preferably asleep).
Am I made for hibernation?
I think so.

Met for breakfast with some shrewsbury youth workers today which was really good. While catching up on our summers Laura told us about her trip to Calais to take aid to some of the refugees in the jungle. In a way, it's been hard and overwhelming to pray for such an immensely big problem, but hearing her talk and hearing human stories today I think will make it easier to pray. I've read some pretty disgusting right wing rubbish over the last few weeks but I don't think that there's any one of us who can imagine what it feels like to be stuck in a no mans land for an indefinite amount of time, unable to return home and yet no prospect of being processed. Laura's stories were obviously of desperation and despair but mingled with small glimmers of hopefulness. A reminder that even in the darkest of situations, God can whisper hope.
