Yesterday we spent most of the day with no water (it had been randomly cut off, again!)...today we had water but no electricity! Even had to shower by candlelight this morning! Torrential rain again today - locals are delighted as the water reserves are so incredibly low...tourists are less happy!
Finally heard from Asha's teacher that we have our pre start meeting tomorrow at half 1, so I'll report back on how it goes!

Tuesday nights are our evening for meeting up with friends, it began when we held the language exchange...that stopped for summer, but people gathering for a drink, snack and natter, didn't stop! Always lovely!
Good to chat to some of the Roma guys tonight as we wandered along to THE café.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) How often the electricity and water DO work.
2) How many people we know round here, and how many friendly greetings we have with people as we wander along...so lovely to feel part of a place.
3) Asha's excitement about school & meeting her teacher tomorrow.
