France- Day 2

The weather wasn't brilliant this morning after the thunderstorm during the night, but it soon brightened up when we arrived at Chinon for the day. Lunch was in a wonderful traditional French Restaurant - 3 Courses for 10 Euros!! The food was really excellent. Then we climbed up to the impressive Chateau to spend a couple of hours exploring the ramparts and admiring the views.
Had to finish the day off with another wine tasting- this time at L'Echo Vineyard . It's compulsory!!
