France - Day 1

After a good night's sleep, Mr & Mrs DP took me to Amboise, catching the Market, which was huge and amazing - selling everything from fruit, veg., clothes, wine, coffee etc to roof tiles and furniture! Lunch (Steak & Frites for me!)was taken in the Square beside the Chateau where we were serenaded by this accordionist, adding to the 'ambience' of a typical French experience.
The day was completed by a wine tasting the Vineyard in Vouvray. All together, a great day out and we even managed to sit outside in the sunshine until after 9 p.m. with the customary bread, cheese, pate and wine ..........of course!
