The Bride and Groom

It was a perfect day for a wedding.  The buses set off from Perth at 12.30, and headed north through our beautiful countryside, while the brilliant sunshine promised to last all day.

The wedding was on the banks of Loch Tay, and we gathered round while Moira and Colin (or Mo and Col to family and friends) took their vows facing the sparkling blue water, with the lodges and mountains behind them.

The ceremony was rounded off with the happy couple having a wee dram from a silver Quaich, a traditional Scottish sharing cup.  After the photos, we all jumped back on our buses and drove to Killin to the village hall, which the Bride and her attendants had decorated beautifully.  There was a wonderful reception with main meals from a barbecue, and wine flowed plentifully.

We danced our socks off to The Red Pine Timber Company, and suddenly it was midnight, and we all turned into pumpkins!  G and I got home at 2am, nicely 'fu, and ready for our bed.

Today Mr and Mrs Cochrane begin the rest of their lives together, with their son and daughter each having gained a sibling and a whole new bunch of aunties, uncles, and grandparents.

Aren't weddings grand?
