Why did I come in here?

By Bootneck

Wow Mum, Mickey D's!

We ascribe many human emotions to other creatures, particularly apes. However the sight of a mother with her infant creates a feeling amongst the vast majority of us that is instantly recognisable and comforting. (I admit there are some dark souls who do not understand or have that emotion, unfortunately the world is not perfect)

I chose not to crop any closer, no real idea why it just seems to encapsulate all I saw with a new mum yesterday, feeding her tiny baby in a cafe environment, untroubled, happy with her child but always on the lookout for any intrusion; the classic protective lioness. The same is true of this female sparrow. She would feed, look around, feed then repeat the protective process which her baby has yet to learn.

Typical Bootneck, soft as hell around kittens, pups and babies. :-)))

Large if you would like to.
