Toorie on da Tractor
The north wind continues and it's fairly chilly now! It had been a sunny morning but mostly cloudy for the rest of the day, with the odd sunny spell mixed in.
It's my weekend on in the museum. It's been a busy day and plenty of visitors around. There seemed to be a lot from America, Australia and New Zealand in today. We had the Shetland Young Writer Awards in the museum in the morning and a good turn out for it.
After tea, me, Sammy and Elise went for a walk about Greenmow and up to the Gray Stane.
Still bunged up with the cold, so it's another quiet night at home for me. Hopefully feel better for work in the morning.
This northerly winds have fairly cooled down the end of a disappointing summer and feels like winter is almost back! I even had to wear my toorie kep (woolie hat) this evening out walkies. George o da Green (Nicolson) zoomed by on his tractor here at Greenmow and he also has had to get the toorie out! Hopefully get a few more summer like days in September, before we have to wear them everyday again!! Taken at Greenmow, Cunningsburgh.
