Tranquility

This is the Groseau Valley near Malucene.
A favourite picnic spot for local people, as it is lovely and cool if the day is hot as it is today 31c!!

If you look in large you should see where the spring comes out of the rock, providing fresh water for the town since before Roman times.

When the popes lived in Avignon this was where they had a summer residence.

A truly beautiful place.
