Orchid

The orchid is a symbol of pure friendship. I was given this little beauty about 7 weeks ago and its flowers are still perfection. In their natural habitat orchids use trees or rocks as a support and feed from plant debris  around their roots. I have followed advice to water just once a week although they look rather dry to me. However I must be doing it right!
