A beautiful day, not hot, but sunny and not much breeze, which is pretty good going compared to June so far!

Got more gardening done, weeding and planting out of some seedlings from the cold frame, Nicotiana and Canterbury bells. The cauliflowers are doing really well. They are still under fleece but are pushing their way up. It's warm enough for the fleece to come off, but the sparrows, starlings and collared doves seem to think that I am growing them for them to eat!

It's a constant battle, what with the birds, slugs and the weather! Enough to turn a woman to drink!
