Sea Pinks & Lichen

Met up with Lady Findhorn and his Lordship for coffee this morning. We drove the poor man away with our chatter, but he kept coming back! Lovely to catch up and have a good blether!

Before choir this evening, I took Ollie for a bit of a wander along the beach. Lots of baby eider and shelduck chicks at the water's edge but it's difficult to take photos of them when Ollie just wants to be in the water with them! Shall have to sneak out on my own when he's not looking! The cliff flowers this year are amazing - the huge clumps of sea pinks are just beginning to fade but are still beautiful. And I love the lichen.
