Sluggish behaviour
I opened the back door this morning, to be greeted by this – a slugcrobat.
When I first saw him, he was dangling from the door frame by a thread about two feet long, so he was level with my face.
Gradually he lowered himself inch by inch towards the ground. All this time I was trying to take a decent photograph of him. The problems were as follows:-
(1) he was moving downwards albeit slowly
(2) the wind was blowing him
(3) he was twisting and turning whilst descending and
(4) he was in mid-air and very difficult to focus on.
This is probably my best effort.
We’re off to the cinema this evening to see “Amy”. Hankies at the ready.
