Palm Springs 2

We decided, despite the heat, to be good little tourists and move away from the pool for long enough to see what else Palm Springs had to offer, though we left Tom at the hotel to have his first proper lie-in of the holiday (he's not really a morning person). Unfortunately, when we hit Downtown it turned out that everything was closed 'for the season' - the Heritage Centre, the Art Gallery, a good proportion of the shops. We contented ourselves with iced coffees, buying t-shirts and fridge magnets and taking a shedload of photos of palm trees...
