Two weeks later....

Back on the fifth I posted this  view of the Augstbordpass - well this is the same pass (looking opposite direction) today.
A challenging day for me, complex route finding, breaking trail through 3-4" of snow & most importantly keeping the clients safe & motivated.
Also a disappointing day for the clients, as the usually superb view never emerged from the clouds. But...we did get a rather special consolation prize - probably the closest encounter I've ever managed with clients to a herd of Ibex, five of us got to within about 15 foot of the magnificent creatures, very special.
