Missing Sector Spider

Today has probably been the closest I've come to not blipping. In our corner of Cumbria at least, a steady dull rain from a dull grey sky has fallen all the dull day. Anything with any sense has found shelter, and stayed put.
A day of tidying up lots of boring loose ends on several projects gave me lots of staring out of the window time, I saw nothing of note. Well that's not true, I think I saw a thoroughly soaked little Wood Warbler which would be a first, but he too flitted off.
Gathering some papers for the recycling I found this little lady. Odd to see one away from the web, especially in the daylight, but I'm confident in my id, I'll assume the rain drove her indoors.
Fortunately tomorrow we're up early and back to the mountains. You'll doubtless be unsurprised to hear that rainy days seem to have a less debilitating affect on morale there, though that could of course be due to ones proximity to cake and beer.
