Day 2

I failed to get up for yoga at 7.30. Whoops. But did manage to go for a 5km walk before breakfast (well, first juice of the day) at 10.30am. It was billed as a flattish walk but we basically went up the hill opposite the Retreat and so I sweated and toiled and puffed all the way up through the beautiful eucalyptuses and then enjoyed the descent. I grabbed this shot of our Retreat on the way back.

Once I finished the walk I stripped to bra and shorts and went for a cheeky swim on my own in the lake. And beautiful it was too. I'll be doing that again tomorrow

Mid morning, I had great fun attempting aquarobics in the pool and then spent the next few hours soaking up the sun bobbing around in the pool chatting to anyone who joined me or on the sun loungers.

Then it was a nice relax in the outdoor hottub with some other guests, followed by a very calming and womblike float in the huge indoor spa jacuzzi/hottub. This is in a really dark room with just a few carefully placed lights and is fabulous.

After a welcome shower, I did a mini gym session on my own to mirror what I do with my PT and sat and chatted before my final juice and early bed.

I slapped factor 50 on all over today and have certainly caught the sun. Only another 18 or so days of this....
