40. Weinwoche

As I had a few errands to run in town after work, I was looking for a good shot of the Weinfest, but given it's a very grey and cold Monday afternoon, there wasn't much happening.  And then I spotted the balloon Weinglas.

I hadn't noticed it on Saturday, mainly because looking up would mean that the sun blinded you.  Today that was not a problem.

Our top temperature today was 17°C.  I saw someone wearing gloves, which was a bit of an over-reaction.  It's not particularly windy and it was actually quite pleasant outside.

There's another Glas on the other side of the Rathaus, but it looks decidedly wonky.  I may try to blip that tomorrow (the weather should stay pretty much as grey until Thursday).

To explain the title, here in Germany we don't use 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 40th, it's always just 1. 2. 3. 40.  In a similarly confusing vein, when you write 3,000,000 in German it's 3.000.000.  And the decimal point isn't a decimal point here it's a decimal comma.
