I have been looking for an ultra-light and stable tripod to suit a compact camera for my hill travels.
It turns out I had one in my loft all along.
Made in the 1930's ( I think) from brass tubing, weighs next to nothing and is remarkable stable in wind.
This Photo was taken at the Summit of Dale Head, A Romp of a walk....
Followed by Hindscarth  and then Robinson.
A three Wainwright day - 13 for the week so far, AND, the wife is still talking to me!
What amazes me though, is that the screw thread for tripod on all modern camera's is the same thread as it was in the 1930's !!!
