Walled Garden

Rosthwaite.. Every walled garden has a garden in its wall.
Such a beautiful village, and I suppose we were lucky to get a parking spot.

"The Plan" fell apart today due to unforeseen circumstance and a ridiculous £5.60 parking charge at Whinlatter Forrest Visitor centre. I recommend you avoid the place and find another way, unless you can get there early enough . its good MTB territory.

So, I got an easy Castle Crag. Jogging gear on and 25 minutes up and 15 minutes down. it was exercise at least, but I didn't think it warranted the Praise that Wainwright gave it.
The War memorial on the top was quite moving though.
