Colours

I only went to pick a couple of courgettes, and came back with all these beautiful things. I can't take any credit for any of it, the veg garden is Marc's domain.

Results day today, they were good! Phew. Results day always used to be stressful, after all, we care about how students do, but these days it affects the whole year: if they aren't deemed good enough (don't even get me started on that) teachers can end up on capability or worse. It's shite.  This describes the feeling of helplessness very well.


Thunderstorms this morning meant that the children and I stayed in an played sh*thead (it's a card game. The things they learn on camp, eh?), and mooched about. Ben was pretty much recovered by this afternoon, so I frogmarched them to the library when the rain stopped. 

And this evening I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 - so far so good, though I do feel a little bit slow when I can't work something out....
