Day 1: Escort

We were up at 6 a.m and in London by 9.00. Marc took Amelia to drop her off at Kings Cross, and then Ben and I made our way to Richmond for our Escort party to Wales. A long, uneventful coach journey and we arrived here. The site is gorgeous, enclosed all around by ancient oaks, and with a beautiful view. We put up our tents, tried to learn the difference between the 3 Mathildas and the 3 Lucies, had a group fire and some singing, then bed.
