Sticky 13 at Ebo's Bar & Spa...and Swe v Eng t

thank goodness it's Friday. it's not been a nice week really, no particular reason, just lots of little ones, and the shocking weather doesn't help either.

So, Fridays here, and i'm looking forward to watching the England game later at Ebo's Bar & Spa. good day at work though first, and we decorated Suz's desk for her big birthday! (which she loved really!). we all went out to lunch, but before that Mr Pick and i wandered to Ladbrookes for a little Euro 2012 flutter - very excited with my odds!

Nice lunch at Cast for Suz's birthday, and then a good afternoon. need to sort out a route for a team charity bike ride from Nottingham to Newark and back (circa 50 miles).

home, and torrential rain and storms as i get in....great, was going to walk to Ebo's so we got a taxi instead. fantastic evening at thiers, Ness and Ian are the best landlord and landlady around! game on, and England take the lead against the Swedes. one bet down at half time. beaut cheese and red onion cobs, and pork pie for half time! second half and prince had arrived. what a match! England win 3-2 in the end, bets off, but what a win for us!

then we had a few games of sticky 13! li won twice, i unfortunately did not!. fab night, and home to bed, quite late!
