Drivetime orchestra

Well, I swear there was some blue sky and sunshine this morning. As I write this, we've clearly fast-forwarded to October!

Was sunny and quite warm most of the day, what a refreshing change. Good day at work and a visit from mrs bet and little Ava, and lunch too which was lovely.

Mr Powell had tipped me off about some Drivetime concert at the concert hall, 6pm and lasting an hour. Went along and it was fab. The Halle orchestra performing for an hour, with an Olympic theme. Brilliant performance. And all for £7!

Seeing the guy on the tuba, reminded me of music at Kimberley comp. first year there and I picked an instrument to learn..the tuba. Mum and dad were thrilled, not. Dad used to send me up to the bathroom to practice! V funny!

Home and dark and rainy June evening. Looking on the bright side, it's Friday tomorrow and I'm at Ebos bar and spa to watch England tomorrow, Ebo's best place in town!
