On walkabout

On route to our morning walk to day we met the Hookney Tor herd on walkabout in one of the small lanes that crisscross the countryside around the edge of the moor. There are probably some twenty of them now. together with the new crop of this years foals. These are still very stiff legged and not sure of how to maneuver over and around obstructions,

As the forecast said, we have has very high winds over the moor today, increasing more so this afternoon but it has been dry and out of the wind quiet warm but very tiring walking.

Not too sure what the programme is for the weekend but I expect we will all be getting together some when.. No1 daughter and family will be flying back from the USA tomorrow so we are looking forward to seeing them next week.
