Dart moor Base

We are back at our dartmoor base after spending the the morning with No3 daughter and looking after Gethin while his mum took Megan for her first injections.

We should be sat out on the patio now but here we are, 14th June, and we have the fire lit and jumpers on and more of the same apparently

I travelled down in shorts but the are back in the case and trousers and full waterproofs out. As the man said, when it comes to walking in wild country, there is no bad weather, just ill equipped walkers (or something like that). But it's true if you have the right gear, and know what your doing, then you can cope with most weather.
