Looking down...

I was awake at 3am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep.  Lots of things were going through my mind, but the  main one was work!  After an hour of trying to get back off to sleep, I went into the spare bedroom so as not to disturb Alan and I was on my iPad until about 6am when I finally managed to nod off again.

This morning we went to meet Karen & Andy at their rented apartment, and walked down to the beach for brunch.  It was lovely and warm and the cafe was really busy, but we managed to get a table and sat there for quite a while.  We then wandered into the village and did a bit of shopping and then Karen & Andy set off walking to the marina.  Alan and I headed home to the boys and Coco who's staying for the weekend, and we walked over the top of the cliffs.  This was the view as we looked down.

After an afternoon sat in the garden, we walked back to meet K & A and had prosecco in their apartment before heading out to dinner in Rottingdean.  We've had a lovely time and I'm pleased that I managed to walk so much today - I've not over done it, but it's the furthest I've walked since my op.  Hopefully I can start building up my exercise a bit now in readiness for the chemo.

Anyway, it's late and I'm tired - hopefully I'll sleep well tonight.  Night, Night xx
