In our back garden

Glorious greens thanks to all that rain! It's good for something :-/

I thought rather than show you yet another plant from our garden, I'd share the whole thing! Well actually, not the whole thing, but a section of it ;-)

We have been very busy in the garden nearly all day today, hubs been scarifying and reseeding patches of both front and back lawns, whilst I've been trimming our yew tree. We had it topped 3/4 months ago, so wanted to wait a while to make sure it had recovered from the shock, before we cut it back further. I've probably taken a good 8-10 inches of it all the way around.....our garden bin was emptied yesterday, it's now full to overflowing again!

I also made a slow cooked spaghetti sauce to throw over some pasta this evening, topped with cheese.......it was very tasty ;-)

Daughter drove back from Northampton this morning and called at the house to check progress, it's still coming on ;-) she went back again later and did some clearing up in their garden, partner had been in Norwich had a horrendous 5hour + drive home this evening!

Think we are all going round tomorrow to make a start on some cleaning.....plaster dust everywhere!

I think me and hub will be a little stiff and achey tomorrow...it's been a busy day.

Happy 33rd wedding anniversary to my sis and BiL. They got married on my dear dads birthday, he would have been 82 today xx
