Good Old 50

Time was that a 50mm f1.8 lens was standard fare for an SLR. These days DSLRs are lost in a sea of slow zooms. I was silly enough to sell my old 50mm D class lens with one of the D100 bodies that I used to have. But at long last I have NEW 50mm G class glass.

I love the work that goes into industrial design for things like this and so I tend to take pictures of it ... especially if it's all golden and shiny.
