Another day...

...another lighthouse ... another walk on a lovely beach. This time it was Alnmouth with a view out to the lighthouse on Coquet Island (and what we think is a passing arctic tern thrown in for good measure.) Bailey partcularly enjoyed the beach with two runs and then a lie down when he did deign to rejoin us. We had a good meal in the Red Lion and then back to Beadnell via the Coastal Route.

It has been overcast for the vast majority of the day but there was a bit of light across the bay as Bailey and I went for a post-tea, pre-Bake Off walk on the beach. And now he is snoozing in the armchair - yet another item of furniture he has made himself at home on - not that he is supposed to even be on it at all!

(Just realised that one year ago today was Bailey's first walk out and about. He's certainly come a long way from that based on today's antics!)
