At sea
Our second trip out to the Farne Islands today but this time, unlike a few years ago, we saw puffins - lots of them on the water and a few - hard / virtually-impossible-to-photograph ones - on Inner Farne. We also saw seals, in the water and on the rocks and kittiwakes on the cliffs desperately trying to hold onto their perches in the wind. And, of course, multiple lighthouses, two still operational and this one - Longstone Lighthouse - the most photogenic, evidenced by 40 shots of it alone.
I did manage to capture one or two passable shots of puffins, particularly if you crop them very closely, and then squint a bit... I'll try to add puffin extras but I'm not having much luck with that blip-aspect at the moment so that might have to wait until we get home.
