I am not ready for my 5 year old to wear coloured nail varnish. I didn't consider it to be something I would have much issue with. But when she returned from a friend's having had her nails painted at the salon with her friends mum, I didn't particularly feel that comfortable with it! She wasn't either, as it happened, and wanted her pale pink, almost invisible nail varnish by the following morning! But she was far too tired after a long afternoon charging round soft play to consider that before bed tonight
