Garden Visitor

What a funny day. NOT funny haha but funny weird. I had to check to see if there was a full moon or something. Everyone at work was grumpy, I kept making little mistakes..it was just an off day. It was super slow too. Not a lot of people needing a toilet today, I guess.
I can talk about the weather except that wasn't so great either. Sort of blah. It tried to be sunny and did this afternoon but then the winds came and they are still really blowing.
I have to say that I was happy today! I am feeling so much more myself. It's nice. Didn't let those grumpos get me down.
Came home tonight, grabbed my camera and walked around the garden. I had my macro lens on but it was so windy I didn't think I could get a good shot of anything. Found amazing flowers growing next to the house! This is the only one that is blooming. I'm going to check them tomorrow and use one of them for my journal. They are so cool!! I'd love to know what they are. As I was trying to get a photo of other flowers in between wind bursts, I suddenly see this dragonfly right next to a flower I was shooting! He was so gracious to stay and let me shoot away. Darn, that wind. It was so hard to get a clear shot and the light wasn't so great. And, he was hanging on a flower right near the ground. I'm sure I was quite the sight bent over with my (now healed) bum sticking way up in the air! Made me glad we are somewhat private here. :) So much fun to find a dragonfly in my garden. My first!! As simplemoments would say..it made for a happy day!! :)
